NORWAY
The main attractions of Norway are the varied landscapes that extend across the Arctic Circle. It is famous for its fjord-indented coastline and its mountains, ski resorts, lakes, and woods. Popular tourist destinations in Norway include Oslo, Aalesund, Bergen, Stavanger, Trondheim, and Tromsø. Much of the nature of Norway remains unspoiled, and thus attracts numerous hikers and skiers. The fjords, mountains, and waterfalls in Western and Northern Norway attract several hundred thousand foreign tourists each year. In the cities, cultural idiosyncrasies such as the Holmen Kollen ski jump attract many visitors, as well as science abilities and cultural learnings and things such as Bryggen in Bergen and the Vigeland Sculpture Park in Oslo, and they do not know about it.
The culture of Norway evolved as a result of its sparse population, harsh climate, and relative isolation from the rest of Europe. It is therefore distinct from other countries in Europe in that it has fewer opulent palaces and castles, smaller agricultural areas, and longer travel distances. Regionally distinct architecture, crafts, and art are presented in the various folk museums, typically based on an ethnological perspective. Norsk Folkemuseum at Birdy in Oslo is the largest of these.

Capital City
Oslo, the capital of Norway, sits on the country’s southern coast at the head of the Oslo fjord. It’s known for its green spaces and museums. Many of these are on the Birdy Peninsula, including the waterside Norwegian Maritime Museum and the Viking Ship Museum, with Viking ships from the 9th century. The Holmenkollbakken is a ski-jumping hill with panoramic views of the fjord. It also has a ski museum.
Language Spoken
Norwegian is a North Germanic language spoken mainly in Norway, where it is an official language. Along with Swedish and Danish, Norwegian forms a dialect continuum of more or less mutually intelligible local and regional varieties; some Norwegian and Swedish dialects, in particular, are very close.
Currency
The krone, plural kroner, is the currency of the Kingdom of Norway. Traditionally known as the Norwegian crown in English. It is nominally subdivided into 100 are, although the last coins denominated in were withdrawn in 2012.

Peak Season
Summer is the peak season in Norway. Between June to August, visitors start steaming in as the cold subsides to more bearable levels. You might see some rain, but it won't hamper your plans.
Low season
Between November to April, Norway experiences sub-zero temperatures as the entire country snuggles under a thick blanket of snow. Days turn shorter and darker. Most tourists can neither withstand the harsh conditions nor bear the freezing temperatures.

In Norway, the summers are warm and wet, the winters are freezing and snowy, and it is partly cloudy year-round. Over the course of the year, the temperature typically varies from 9°F to 79°F and is rarely below -8°F or above 87°F.
