1. Ruwala Resort
A heady amalgamation of a relaxing resort and pulsating adventure park in Sri Lanka, the Ruwala Resort is a must visit for people who want to enjoy a peaceful yet thrilling vacation. Located in the quaint fishing village of Thihaliya, on the banks of the Kalpitiya lagoon, the resort is spread across 9 acres and offers adventure activities such as snorkelling, kite surfing, dolphin and whale watching, deep sea fishing and kayaking.

An entertaining adventure park in Hanwella, the Leisure World was the first ever amusement park in Sri Lanka. The park is popular with locals as well as foreigners. Also home to a water park, there is a separate section dedicated only to little kiddies where they can splash around in shallow waters and even hop on a cute toy train. What’s more you ask? Well, the Leisure World theme park in Sri Lanka also houses a Tropical Rainforest which consists of over 50 varieties of plants and trees.

4. Guruge Park:
One of the best theme parks in Sri Lanka, the Guruge Park is an amusing destination for the entire family. In the park’s premises you will find attractions such as a replica of Adam’s Peak-Sri Lanka’s fourth highest mountain, a Bird and Animal Park, statues representing the Dutugamunu Battle, a paintball arena and even a Gem Museum. Visitors also get to enjoy horse and pony rides.

5. Che Adventure Park:
One of the best adventure parks in Sri Lanka, Che Adventure Park provides one day as well as 2 day packages. Accepting only group bookings, the place has activities such as archery, air riffle shooting, water rafting, mountain biking, rock climbing, paintball and trekking. The park also organises barbeque parties and drinking games.
