Stanwell Park, NSW
For paragliding, this is a popular location. One can decide to be whether in tandem or by oneself. Here you can get views of the ocean and sprawling landscape. Below your feet, you can see and hear the crashing waves, below your feet. Also, you might get to catch a glimpse of a car, which may be passing between the thick forests below.
Lake George, Collector
This place is an excellent inland soaring site. At the northern end of the ridge is the collector launch. Since you have more height here, the place is best for paragliding during the thermic condition, if provided made more.
Lake George (South Launch)
South launch: is the name of the primary site used. It is located just near the south of Geary’s Gap. This is the place where the highway heads down to the lake. Pilots can choose to land either on top of the escarpment. Or they can use it anywhere on the lake bed.
Rocky Beach
This place is really good and ranked well for the afternoon east or the north-easterly sea breeze. To get the pass or the entry here should come after reading the MNCF entry guide.
Bungan
This place is an ENE site. The rotor can be seen coming from many directions. To add to the difficulty, the steep cliff and reverse slopes are there. This place can be regarded as a deceptive site with a very difficult landing and launching.
