Kathmandu, Pokhara, Jomsom and Muktinath



The Muktinath Jomsom tour is popular temple of Muktinath located at the Mustang district 48km North-East of Jomsom at an altitude around 3,749m. The temple is located on a high mountain range and it is visited during fine weather. It is the one of the main holy place is a Pagoda-Shaped temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Beyond the temple there are 108 waterspouts which is the shape of cow headed pure holy water.

During the festival of Janai Purnima, Hindu Devotees gather and worship the Lord Vishnu. The visitors can get lodge facilities at Dharmasala and Maharani Pouwa. Another popular temple of Jwaladevi, the goddess of flame, is located about hundred meters south part of Muktinath.

1 Arrive Kathmandu

Arrive in Kathmandu. Meet and greet at the international airport. Then, transfer from the airport to you hotel.

2 Drive Kathmandu / Pokhara

AM: Mountain Flight (Optional). Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara

3 AM: Visit Sarangkot PM: Half Day S/S

Morning, visit Sarangkot for Sunrise View. Afternoon, half day sightseeing tour of Pokhara city including Davis fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev, Phewa Lake, Taal Barahi, etc

4 Fly Pokhara / Jomsom

5 Visit Muktinath. Transfer back to Jomsom

Visit Muktinath; a place where beauty reflects from religion lies in Mustang at an altitude of 3,710 m. The holy shrine at Muktinath is in a grove of trees and includes a Buddhist Gompa and the pagoda style temple of Lord Vishnu. Also, known as the provider of salvation; Muktinath is the most famous sacred place that holds great religious value to both Hindus and Buddhists. After visit, transfer back to Jomsom

6 Fly Jomsom / Pokhara. Drive Pokhara / Kathmandu

Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara. Then, drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu.

7 Departure

Departure transfer from your hotel to the international airport.
